IWTV Updates Apps to Support Multiple Live Streams

IWTV Updates Apps to Support Multiple Live Streams

After their successful beta test of supporting multiple concurrent live streams in early January, IWTV's dev team has been hard at work adding support for this exciting new opportunity to all of their existing applications for Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, Android and iOS devices. This morning, just in time for IWTV's huge 5 stream weekend - featuring the live streaming debut of Absolute Intense Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling and Bizarro Lucha on the service, along with long time live streaming partners Freelance Wrestling and CHIKARA - IWTV's apps will allow users to choose the live stream they want to watch for the first time!

If you have the Android or iOS apps, you can make sure you have the update by completely closing the app and re-opening it. You can confirm you have the most current version by clicking the side menu, choosing Account, and you should see App Version: 1.1.2(live).

For those of you with FireTV - make sure to check for the updated app, it should have been automatically downloaded in your most recent update.

Roku users, you will find that there are significant upgrades to the app - but to make sure you have the latest version, on your Roku, press "Home" then scroll up to "Settings" then choose "System" and choose "System Update" - you can then press the "Check Now" option and the channel should be updated to the latest version that includes numerous enhancements for performance, supports multiple live streaming options, and fixes the long standing bug that was preventing some users from seeing the posters for events.

IWTV's dev team is excited to get these application updates out as quickly as possible, and they hope you will help provide some feedback if you run into any issues using the support page to open a ticket with them.
