More Details on IWTV/SMV Merger plus a Three Day Streaming Weekend starts 2020!

The last week of 2019 was an extremely eventful one for IWTV.

  • Current IWTV Independent Wrestling Champion, WARHORSE, set a single reign defense record.
  • In total, the last week of the decade saw five events streamed live on IWTV, including the Season Two Finale of Uncharted Territory.
  • On New Year's Eve we announced that we have merged with Smart Mark Video. Details of what the expanded relationship will mean for independent wrestling fans are covered in some detail here.
  • We then rounded out the year with the 2019 IWTV Independent Wrestling Awards, immediately followed by Beyond Wrestling's Heavy Lies The Crown.

As we transition from 2019 into 2020, let's take a look at some of the exciting changes, additions and events coming to IWTV in the New Year.

  • As noted in the original announcement, the merger with Smart Mark Video means new partner promotions will be streaming live with IWTV in 2020. First out of the gate will be Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) who will make their IWTV live streaming debut with their Built To Last show from Cleveland, Ohio on IWTV on Friday, February 7th at 6:30pm CST/7:30pm EST.
  • The expanded relationship with Smart Mark Video also means more on demand content from new promotions will be available to IWTV subscribers. As of today four Game Changer Wrestling events have been added to our library and can be viewed at any time with more to come.
  • This Thursday night at 8pm EST IWTV will host the premiere of Everytime I Die's 'Tid The Season wrestling event which took place on December 14th in Buffalo, New York.
  • In addition to the Thursday night premiere of 'Tid The Season, IWTV has two live streams scheduled for this weekend. First, on Saturday night, January 4th at 8pm EST, ICW New York presents No Holds Barred live from Jersey City, New Jersey at 8pm EST. The entire event will be contested with no rules, submissions or disqualifications and features Low Ki vs death match legend Masashi Takeda, Killer Kross vs Chris Dickinson and more. The following day, Sunday, January 5th, Southern Underground Pro (SUP) presents Stay Cold live from Nashville, Tennessee at 2pm CST/3pm EST. Stay Cold will see the winner of the 2019 Independent Wrestling Face Of The Future Award, Manders, taking on Jon Davis, plus Curt Stallion vs Brett Ison and more.
