ECWA comes to IWTV - 2020 Super 8 to stream live
One of the longest-running independent wrestling promotion's in the world, the East Coast Wrestling Association (ECWA), is coming to IWTV.
A launching pad for the wrestling careers of Reckless Youth, Devon Storm, Billy Kidman, Steve Corino and more, the ECWA is perhaps best known for their Super 8 Tournaments. The original Super 8 Tournament was held in 1997, and was the first major independent wrestling tournament of its kind. A raw footage version of the 1997 Super 8 will be one of many ECWA events made available to IWTV subscribers this Thursday, with the 2005 Super 8 premiering on IWTV at 10:30pm EDT Thursday night.
In addition to the hundreds of hours of ECWA archival footage coming to IWTV over the next several months, new ECWA content will be coming to the service. This includes the 24th Annual Super 8 Tournament, which will air live on IWTV on Saturday, September 19.
