Glory Pro Kicks Off 2019 By Crowning New Tag Team Champs

Glory Pro's first event of 2019, Above The Law, streamed live on IWTV Sunday evening from Collinsville, Illinois.  The show saw some big debuts, rivalries intensify, new tag team champions, and a wild main event. 

  • In the opener, Warhorse Jake Parnell defeated Aaron Orion in a hard hitting match.
  • Mike Outlaw pinned Aaron Solow picking up a big win in his singles wrestling debut at Glory Pro.
  • Tootie Lynn Ramsey donned the mask to compete as Seishin and win a Fatal Fourway match over Craig Mitchell, Mark Wheeler and Orion Creed.  This was Tootie/Seishin's second straight big win in a multi-person match at Glory Pro.
  • Kobe Durst overcame a big size difference and defeated Barackus, illustrating why he is someone wrestling fans should be keeping their eyes on in 2019
  • AJ Gray and Jake Something fought to a double countout.  Gray appeared poised to slide into the ring and pick up the victory, but Something held on to his leg while laying on the ground to ensure that neither man would win.  After the match a wild brawl broke out between the two men requiring the locker room to hit the ring and break things up. 
  • Eddie Kingston pinned Paco, avenging a previous loss in Glory Pro and giving him even more momentum heading into his match against Orange Cassidy for the Independent Wrestling Championship this Friday, January 11 in Alton, Illinois at St. Louis Anarchy's Gateway To Anarchy. 
  • Joey Lynch won a triple threat match over Jake Lander and Shane Sabre.  Lander was in a position to win after hitting a 450 on Sabre when Lynch tossed Lander out and scored the pin himself. 
  • In here Glory Pro debut, Allie Kat beat Vanessa Azure. 
  • The Besties In The World won the United Glory Tag Team Championships in a chaotic TLC match besting No New Friends (Danny Adams and KLD) and Stephen Wolf and Myron Reed. After the match Freelance Wrestling stalwarts, The Four Star Heroes (Matt Knicks and Chris Castro) hit the ring and attacked the new champs, burying them under the Chicago flag in the process. 
  • In the main event, Curt Stallion retained the Crown Of Glory championship by defeating lucha libre star Bandido.
