Freelance Wrestling celebrates Independence Day weekend with a Wet Hot American Super Show on Friday night

Freelance Wrestling returns to the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, Illinois this Friday at 10pm EDT on IWTV.LIVE when they present Wet Hot American Supershow 2. Let's take a quick look at what is to come Friday night!

  • Eye Candy Elliot became the first ever Freelance Legacy Champion at Freelance vs. The World 5. He makes his first defense of the championship at Wet Hot American Supershow when he takes on his former dear, close, personal, long time friend Effy.
  • The number one contender to the IWTV Championship, Craig Mitchell, is in the middle of a Best of Five Series for the Freelance Underground Championship with rival GPA. With the score tied at 1-1 the third bout will take place on Friday and see GPA and Tony Nas battle Mitchell and a partner of his choosing.
  • Last month the Space Pirates fought to a no contest against Freelance World Tag Team Champions The Workhorsemen. This month they look to get back on track against the Maine State Posse.
  • Robert Anthony's Freelance Wrestling winning streak has come to an end, will he be able to rebound when he faces off against Kobe Durst and Alex Zayne in a triple threat match?
  • The Take It Homewreckers (Darin Corbin and Bucky Collins) miss their main man Mikey, but have drafted Kenny Sutra into service for the second straight month as they compete against an eccentric trio from Bizarro Lucha in Tripp Cassidy, Levi Everett and Ace Perry.
  • Project Monix looks to get his first singles victory since coming back to Freelance Wrestling when he goes one-on-one with Royce Isaacs.
  • It wouldn't be a Freelance show without a Freelance Scramble and this Friday will see one of the wildest on record as Swoggle, Steve Manders, Gregory Iron, Alexander Lee, Ricky Gibson and Arik Cannon duke it out.
