Orange Cassidy To Take On F4WOnline's Bryan Alvarez At Adventures In Wrestling

If Orange Cassidy can get past Jonathan Gresham at IWTV's Family Reunion on April 4, he will defend the Independent Wrestling Championship the following day against F4WOnline radio host and personality Bryan Alvarez at Black Label Pro's Adventures In Wrestling event.

The unlikely match up came about as a result of a card change that left Cassidy without an opponent. Alvarez had previously issued an open challenge of his own and after the champions bout fell through he took to Twitter to request "that radio guy" from Black Label Pro management. Alvarez agreed on the condition that the Independent Wrestling Championship be put on the line and the match was made.

Though primarily known as the host of Wrestling Observer Live radio and proprietor of the Figure 4 Weekly Newsletter, Alvarez is an accomplished martial artist and long time professional wrestler who holds a recent win over independent wrestling sensation Marko Stunt.

Adventures In Wrestling will stream live here on IWTV at 3:30pm EDT on Friday, April 5.
